The writer

The writer, Rev. M Haokhothong is currently working as an Emiritus Pastor of Kuki Worship Service in Guwahati. He was previously working with the Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India (CBCNEI) from 1970 - 1997. He is married to Mrs. Nenghoi Manchong for the past 51 years and is blessed with 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

How long has the publication been going

"Christian Meivah" is a vernacular (Kuki language) bimonthly newsletter and with the demand from  the Manipuri language group, the writer started the newsletter in Manipuri as well called "Jesu Na Kouri". These two newsletters have completed 25 years of bimonthly publication and still going on.

This publication is a private circulation only and available on request to the writer

Who funds the publication

The newsletter subscription cost is Rs.200/- annually however this amount is not given by all subscribers as many are unable to pay for it.  Yet the writer continues to send each and everyone who request for the newsletter.

This is a not- for- profit publication and  most of the time the cost towards the production and mailing is borne by the writer himself.
